Spas Are Not Swimming Pools

Some people look to spas as a cost effective alternative to swimming pools. Spas do provide the utmost relaxation and hydrotherapy benefits but they are not intended to be used as a pool.

Maintenance for hot tubs and swimming pools are very different and should be treated as such. It is all about the water chemistry.

Caring for Your Spa Filters

Spa filters are absolutely essential in maintaining clean water and ensuring proper performance of your spa.

Dirty, clogged or worn-out filters will fail to trap contaminants and put a strain on your spa's jet pumps. It is important to remove your filters and spray them off with a garden hose to remove any debris that may have accumulated between the folds.

Also, do not clean your filters with a high-pressure washer or in a dishwasher.
